This quintessential family home with a classic 3 bed up 1 down 3 bath layout perfect for family living is now ready for new owners after 36 yrs with the same loving Family. Situated in Nanaimo's University District just a short walk from the Ice Centre, Pool and Fitness Centre, this home is close to transit and all amenities yet the street itself is used mostly by local traffic only. Home sits on a large, level lot with apple and pear trees along with both red and white grape vines if you happen to like wine making. Backyard is also fully fenced. There is room for a small RV or extra parking at the side of the driveway. Perimeter drains in the front were serviced 5 or 6 years ago and the roof is approximately 10 years old. Still heated with forced air oil however the furnace is serviced annually and in great shape. Natural gas is also available on the road. Additional attic insulation was added approx. 2018. Several windows and dining room slider have been updated to vinyl thermopane.

ABOUT ME:
Carol Riera PREC* - REALTOR®, B.ED., M. of Applied Linguistics
Born and raised in Vancouver, Carol has lived in three provinces, travelled extensively and is fluent in both French and English. Carol worked in Education for more than 20 years, teaching every grade from preschool to the college level. She is known for her involvement in community activities, her attention to detail and her customer service skills.
Always looking for new challenges, Carol embarked on a Master's of Linguistics with the University of Nottingham in 2011. When deciding to return to beautiful, BC, Qualicum Beach was an easy choice for Carol and her husband, Bruno Sterckeman, as it was a return to family and a milder climate. In order to make the move, and encouraged by her sister, Carol enrolled in the Sauder School of Business at UBC to study Real Estate Trading Services.
Throughout her varied career, Carol has always enjoyed serving others, organizing many cultural and humanitarian trips as a teacher and is now happy to support the Children's Miracle Network as a REALTOR® at RE/MAX Anchor Realty. Her greatest asset is her outgoing and warm personality which helps her develop long-term relationships with others. Carol allows you to have trust and confidence in experienced representation!
