EXCEPTIONAL - This 5 - bedroom (+ den), 4 - bath "rustically handsome" home adorns a 12.8 acre private oasis, with 1000 ft of riverfront, some gorgeous old growth trees, amazing mountain views, unbelievable sunsets, and it's just a short drive from Chemainus. Featuring 6621 sq ft of architectural brilliance - including vaulted ceiling, property milled siding, some interior wood fit from Caucus lumber, and a stand out woodstove focal point — even the carport's a work of art. Wood, light and space are themes, with impressive windows and decks, and parking for multiple vehicles. Inside, the spacious entry; large kitchen (w/ new appliances); enviable pantry and master with ensuite are just a few of the many bonuses. Upstairs leads to three more bedrooms and a spacious family room. Great times await in the lower floors rec room, workshop /hobby room and the 60'x 13'7"flex room. Main floor laundry, ample storage, and heaps more on this postcard property.

About
Darren grew up in the Cowichan Valley and literally knows the Valley like the back of his hand. His local knowledge will impress you. Having moved away from the Valley for University, obtaining a Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry, he then pursued different occupations and has worked as a tree-planter, crew boss, provincial heli-attack fire fighter and ski patroller. Darren now truly understands what a special place the Cowichan Valley is. He is extremely proud to show off this area and is excited to see his children growing up here.
