This is a rare find, this quiet and peaceful 4 bedroom oasis is a minute's walk from the heart of downtown Courtenay, the Tsolum and Puntledge rivers, grocery stores, restaurants, and everything downtown has to offer, with Courtenay Elementary School and park steps away. This well-established, friendly and peaceful low-traffic neighbourhood is packed with community spirit and is a great area to raise a family and create lasting memories. The house is full of character and charm, from the WETT inspected wood burning fire, the exposed beams, mountain views and generous open plan kitchen and living area; the house offers the space for families to spend quality time together whilst providing plenty of hidden nooks to enjoy life's quieter moments. The large and quiet back garden has plenty of space for recreation and play, and for the gardener, there are boarders ready to start your very own vegetable garden. Don't miss out on this incredible opportunity to own a slice of paradise!

ABOUT ME:
Carol Riera PREC* - REALTOR®, B.ED., M. of Applied Linguistics
Born and raised in Vancouver, Carol has lived in three provinces, travelled extensively and is fluent in both French and English. Carol worked in Education for more than 20 years, teaching every grade from preschool to the college level. She is known for her involvement in community activities, her attention to detail and her customer service skills.
Always looking for new challenges, Carol embarked on a Master's of Linguistics with the University of Nottingham in 2011. When deciding to return to beautiful, BC, Qualicum Beach was an easy choice for Carol and her husband, Bruno Sterckeman, as it was a return to family and a milder climate. In order to make the move, and encouraged by her sister, Carol enrolled in the Sauder School of Business at UBC to study Real Estate Trading Services.
Throughout her varied career, Carol has always enjoyed serving others, organizing many cultural and humanitarian trips as a teacher and is now happy to support the Children's Miracle Network as a REALTOR® at RE/MAX Anchor Realty. Her greatest asset is her outgoing and warm personality which helps her develop long-term relationships with others. Carol allows you to have trust and confidence in experienced representation!
