Shelley grew up in the small town charm of Kitimat in northern BC. After relocating to the Island for university, Shelley moved to the Comox Valley 15 years ago for work, and immediately knew she had found home. She and her husband are happily raising three daughters - including twins - in this vibrant community.
For Shelley, real estate is first and foremost about helping people.
“It is an absolute privilege to serve as a person’s trusted advisor and navigate one of the most significant life decisions - to find the ideal home, community and quality of life.” A skilled advisor and strong yet fair advocate, Shelley listens to her clients’ needs, focuses their search to locate the right properties, and provides a positive, professional experience until the keys are exchanged, and beyond.
Prior to real estate, Shelley was a senior researcher with the BC Attorney General, and also worked in archaeology throughout BC and internationally for over a decade. She holds a degree in anthropology from the University of Victoria.
Real estate requires constant problem-solving and solution-finding. With her background in legal research and a down-to-earth personality, Shelley has exceptional skills and knowledge to make the real estate process as smooth and stress-free as possible - no question or detail is too small. Outside of work, Shelley puts her time where her heart is - volunteering and supporting organizations such as World Community, Girl Guides, Syrian Refugee Support, Child Haven, MusicFest and organizing an online community for local twin parents. Shelley also loves to garden with her family and play the ukulele.
